Drone view of the Sea Venture at anchor over the reef, with guests on deck

Skip the big boats.

Snorkel and sunset sails on the Sea Venture, with 16 guests at most. Run by Roberto's family on Palm Beach since 1996.

Tonight the sun sets over Palm Beach at 6:17 pm. The sunset sail leaves at 4:30 pm.

Sixteen seats. That's the whole boat.

The Sea Venture is a sailing trimaran, and we never take more than 16 guests. Big party catamarans often carry a hundred or more. On ours there's room to stretch out, and the crew has time for everyone.

A sea turtle swimming

Sea turtles live here.

They graze on the seagrass along this coast. We can't promise one, but the crew knows where they like to feed and will point you to them.

Boca Catalina

First stop, a few meters deep

A calm, shallow bay a short sail north of Palm Beach. The water is clear, and schools of striped sergeant majors swim right up to your mask.

Malmok

Second stop

A rocky reef along the shore, just down the coast from Boca Catalina. Clear water over the reef and plenty of fish to see.

Thirty years in the same spot

Roberto put up his tent on Palm Beach in 1996, and it's still run by family. His daughter Laura handles the bookings, Captain Alex knows where the turtles feed, and Danny makes the rum punch.

Some guests have sailed with us for 25 years. Now their kids come too.

“Have been using Roberto’s for 25 years… best kept secret on Aruba’s Palm Beach.”
